Quality of LIFE

Over the past several years, LEOTAUR Executive Management team has run several non-profit related initiatives giving back to the communities across the globe.

What started as a school project in the suburbs of Dallas (Texas/USA) has now become a large initiative with volunteers spanning over 20 countries. Kind Karma Foundation [a 501c(3) Non-Profit organization] started the initiative of providing Audio books to blind students across the globe. School books from specific parts of the world were scanned and sent to Kind Karma coordinators in USA and these PDFs or soft copies was read and recorded by school students during their summer vacation volunteering for social cause. These recordings were sent back to the remote villages and towns from where the school books originated. These were further accessed by Blind Kids to help them understand their school books and continue with their school education. The model was a disruption to the common process for blind school kids reading braille books for their education. As demand for books increased – so did the volunteer base. Today volunteers from over 20 countries (School kids as well as adults) record their voices for blind kids in Southeast Asia.
